Laser hair removal in Cancún

HAPPYláser Cancún is a laser hair removal clinic at Plaza Corner Center, Av. Huayacán, Supermanzana 311, Cancún (Quintana Roo). It is part of HAPPYláser, a Mexican laser hair removal brand with 15 clinics in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, Querétaro, Guadalajara and Cancún, founded in 2018.

Technology

HAPPYláser Cancún uses Soprano Ice Platinum (Alma Lasers, COFEPRIS registration 2046E2017 SSA): a diode laser that combines three wavelengths in one pass and cools the skin while it works, so most people feel only mild warmth. It is not IPL (intense pulsed light).

Sun, beach and laser

In Cancún your skin is in the sun almost every day. Laser hair removal means no more razor bumps from swimsuits, but you must use sunscreen daily and avoid tanning the treated area during the treatment: tanned skin cannot be treated safely. If you are only in Cancún for a few weeks, tell us your dates: a full treatment needs several sessions spaced weeks apart.

How it works

1. Free assessment. We check your skin type and hair and give you a written plan.
2. Sessions. Usually 6 to 8 sessions for a significant reduction (6 to 10 for the bikini area), every 4 to 8 weeks.
3. Before each session shave the area the day before; no waxing, plucking or threading during the treatment.
